Well I don’t want to, but I need to sell this rare find. 1962 Ford econoline truck.
I know it’s ugly now, lol, but if you know anything about these you know what it is. Truck is really in great shape to never have been restored. There are only 2 small areas that need rust repair except for tailgate(which are notorious for being in bad shape) and are in the pics. This is an inline 6 cylinder 170 cubic inches. 3 on the tree shift.
So here is story… I have 3 projects going and need to sell this one first. It came out of Va. Previous owner got brake system in shape with new stuff. Also new starter, plugs, wires, cap, etc. I just rebuilt carb and now it is road worthy. Starts up quick. I have driven around the neighborhood some. I don’t see why it couldn’t be driven daily now.
So… it uses the fuel cell in truck bed as the fuel tank has not been used recently. The paint is ugly but body is in fine shape. The sides of truck are straight. Front has some bondo, but isn’t bad. Tailgate is repairable. Doors shut great. All glass is good. Has both seats and both fenders. This is a good project. These things fetch $10k + with wheels and paint. The last 3 pics are what I was going to make it like.
Which brings me to the price. The price is $4900. It’s not 4000 or even 4700. I have left enough room for you to do your thing. DO NOT offer any less. Not being a jerk, just letting you know the price. If you don’t want it at $4900, than that’s ok
