From ‘61-’67, Ford produced these E100 half-ton pickups based on their 1st generation Econoline Van and they competed with the Volkswagen pickup, Chevy’s Corvair pickup and Dodge’s A100.

Iconic and collectible, they are highly sought after today and the good ones are getting hard to find. They were hard workers and most just got used up or they rusted away. They’ve always been popular to hot rod and customize and just like this one they are loaded with personality and a sense of fun. Clean and clear title in Florida Owner’s name.

Looking fantastic in Candy Burgundy, this 5-window Cabover is one unique custom ride and you will spin some heads around every time you take it out. For most onlookers, they have never seen one in person before, or possibly know they even existed, so that will be a fun bonus when you own this classic. The split bumpers, chrome bed rails, deep tinted glass, wood tailgate, racing striped tail, American Racing alloy wheels, BFG Radial T/A’s and the perfect stance add to the classic ‘60’s/’70’s Kustom vibe making this build a very Kool time machine.

The well laid out and very inviting interior is super clean here and looking great with Black vinyl bucket seats and body colored steel doors and dash. The driving position will take a little getting used to as you are not looking out over anything but the road ahead and that is part of the fun. You sit high and are master of all you survey. The Grant GT steering wheel, diamond plate and barefoot gas pedal are cool custom additions. A four-speaker sound system has the head unit mounted in the glovebox. The engine placement allows for plenty of legroom.

Under the engine cover between and behind the bucket seats is the original inline 6-Cylinder engine with an aluminum radiator and electric fan. It’s mated to a fun-to-drive manual transmission shifted on the steering column 3-on-the-tree style. It doesn’t have monster horsepower, but it is plenty for nimble cruising in this dependable lightweight truck and as a bonus, the gas mileage is very good, in the 20’s. The Owner states that he has recently done around $4k worth of mechanical maintenance and upgrades and has the receipts to back it up.
