A true beauty and major head-turner with clean title. Very rare and hard to find 1964 5-window Ford Econoline pick up truck with its original owner’s manual.
Ravine Black factory paint may have been touched-up over the years as it appears to have some bondo on some of the body panels. The motor and transmission are original to the truck and seem to function fine. The dash looks original and shines like it was just painted with the original AM radio, glove box and lid. All the windows and doors function as they should. This truck is 90% pure and unmolested but it needs attention. I am not selling a perfect truck. It needs to be gone through mechanically however, has new exhaust headers and mufflers, tires and wheels. Beautiful project truck.
It appears to have 1964 Ford Mustang seats. Original seat bracket on driver’s side has been modified to fit the Mustang seats. I have owned my beautiful truck for only five weeks. My plan was to drive it to car shows and leaving it sweaty with original patina. It was assembled in Loraine, Ohio and sold from the Ford dealer in Lima Ohio on April 22nd, 1964. There is a hole in the frame towards the rear of the truck where it rusted through. You will most likely need floor pans inside the cab and areas of the bed of the truck. I was told this was all repairable.
I just purchased the tailgate from eBay for $1,165 and it is very good shape. The tailgate was shipped from Salt Lake city Utah. Apparently the tailgate came from a truck registered in Arizona.
I surprised my wife with the vehicle and she was thrilled for me until I told her it will need some work both body and mechanically. It will always be garaged as Long as I have it. Asking price is what I have invested in it so, just trying to get my investment back. Just bad timing for my wife and I.
